Seedless Che (Scion Wood)

$4.00

This listing is for a scion, meant for grafting.

(Maclura tricuspidata)

Che is a lesser know relative of mulberry and fig. It produces round, red fruits in early fall with pleasant sweet flavor and notes of watermelon. This is a self-fertile selection which produces seedless fruit and does not require a male tree for pollination. For hardiness and improved tree form, it is recommended to graft on osage orange rootstock.

Flavor profile: Sweet, juicy, watermelon

Hardiness zone: 5b-9

We are unable to ship this product outside the contiguous US or to California.

All scions and cuttings will be shipped in late March or early April with any bare root plants in your order. If you would like scions or cuttings in February or March, please place a separate order with only the scions or cuttings (no plants) and add your shipping window preference in the “special instructions” section at checkout.
