Peaches (Scion Wood)
This listing is for a scion, meant for grafting.
A little more difficult to grow but maybe the most rewarding and delicious fruit you can harvest from your back yard. Fairly easy to graft on recommended seedling rootstock like Nemaguard or Lovell. We have also had success grafting Redhaven peach on American plum rootstock, which seems to reduce peach borer issues in the trunk and roots. Peach trees are self fertile but may produce more with a nearby tree.
Redhaven: Classic, deliciously juicy peach with high yields. Very hardy and good disease resistance. In years where our other peaches have suffered from leaf curl, Redhaven has been largely unaffected. A great backyard variety. Ripens mid season.
Reliance: Large, beautiful pink blossoms in spring followed by a heavy crop of medium sized, sweet peaches later in the season. Firm fruit that holds well on the tree, great for fresh eating and canning. Reliance peach is vigorous and extremely hardy. Ripens mid-late season.
We are unable to ship this product outside the contiguous US or to California.
All scions and cuttings will be shipped in late March or early April with any bare root plants in your order. If you would like scions or cuttings in February or March, please place a separate order with only the scions or cuttings (no plants) and add your shipping window preference in the “special instructions” section at checkout.
